Icebreakers
LHSS is now offering weekly, single session hockey classes for our youngest skaters. Classes will be led primarily by Coach Lee Harris, and will include mini games, races, and compete drills to keep the game fun while learning more about hockey.
**This program is invite only.
Ages
This program is for our youngest LHSS skaters, typically 6 years old and under.
When & Where
Classes will be held every Thursday at Chiller North Rink from 8:50-9:50 am.
The season will run from March 12th through May 28th.
Registration & Waitlist
Registration is on a first come/first serve basis.
If the session date you would like is full, please join the waitlist for the session(s) you are interested in attending. We will notify you if a spot becomes available.
Cost
Each session is $50.
Gear
Helmets, sticks, and full gear are required.
Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 1 week before the session to receive a credit. In the case of illness or injury, please give email notification of the absence PRIOR to the start of the session and we will assess on an individual basis.
**No swapping of sessions is permitted. We will be honoring our waitlist to fill any spots that open up.
Inclement Weather
We follow the weather closings & delays of the Chiller Ice Rinks. Please refer to their website/social media to see if there are any new alerts, and please plan accordingly for difficult road conditions.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if my skater wakes up ill and cannot make the session?
We understand that illnesses happen. Please refer to our Refund Policy listed above.
Why can't I cancel my session through my account?
If you try to cancel a session through your account, you will get an error that says "Permission Denied". Instead, please send us an email as soon as possible with your skater's name, the session you would like cancelled, and the reason for cancellation.
How will I know if I've been offered a spot once I'm on the Waitlist?
You will receive an email from LHSS with a Waitlist Invite. The email will have a link that you can follow to confirm the spot and pay.
You will also receive an email at the time that you originally join the Waitlist confirming that you have been registered. You can also confirm that you have signed up for the Waitlist by going to your Account --> Registration History.
Why I can't choose an available session and join a waitlist at the same time when registering?
Please note that during registration, you will not be able to choose available sessions and join a waitlist at the same time. We recommend you choose all available sessions that you would like and pay for those first. Then go back into the same registration and join the waitlist for any further sessions. You will need to join each waitlist separately because the system will not allow you to choose more than one waitlist at a time.
