Spring Camp
The 2026 LHSS Spring Camp is an annual, 6-week long clinic that will challenge your skaters’ use of edges and speed while also working on aligning their body in the proper skating positions.
The LHSS Spring camp gives us an opportunity to help prepare your skater for the upcoming tryout season. The pressures of the season are behind us, and it’s time to get creative by encouraging your skater to try new tricks and be willing to step out of their comfort zone. Pucks, battle drills, and game-related drills will be included to help prepare your skater to stand out at tryouts. As always, our main focus will be on skating skills, but this camp allows us to give your skaters more experience with using these skills in real game play.

Skaters must be born within 2007-2018 and must also be the appropriate skill level.

Frequently Asked Questions
My skater plays AA, but their groups are full. Can I register them for a different skill level group?
No - we ask you to only register for the group that corresponds with their current playing level. This is to ensure that all lessons are appropriate and that all skaters can work together cohesively. Please join the waitlist for your level instead.
What should my skater wear to camp?
All skaters should have wear full equipment (including hockey stick) and standard practice attire. No special jersey is required.
Why did you change registration from the full 6-week camp to a la carte sessions?
There were several reasons we made this change this year.
To make registration easier for our skating community, we streamlined the registration process so that skaters can choose the dates and locations that work best for their schedule. This process allows for more up-to-date calendars for each family, a consistent price across the board (whether or not you can make every session), and an easier waitlist process. We have received a lot of positive feedback when switching to a la carte registration for some of the other camps & clinics that we offer.
Offering a la carte sessions for the Spring Camp also allows families to have more flexibility in regards to Spring Break and attending other camps in the community. Additionally, this process allows for more skaters in the community to have the opportunity to attend an LHSS camp.
How do I sign up for drop-in sessions?
Due to the new registration process, we no longer have "drop-in sessions". However, you can check the registration link at any time to see if a session has open spots.
We highly recommend you join the Waitlist for each session that you are interested in attending so that you can be notified if a spot opens up for you. Open spots will be offered to skaters on the waitlist in the order they signed up.
How will I know if I've been offered a spot once I'm on the Waitlist?
You will receive an email from LHSS with a Waitlist Invite. The email will have a link that you can follow to confirm the spot and pay.
You will also receive an email at the time that you originally join the Waitlist confirming that you have been registered. You can also confirm that you have signed up for the Waitlist by going to your Account --> Registration History.
**Please note: When you receive an Invite Email, all you need to do is click on the link in the invite email and then click Continue to go forward to the payment page. The system auto-selects the session/date that you were offered, so you do NOT need to choose the specific session (the button next to the date should be green when you continue to the payment page).
Why I can't choose an available session and join a waitlist at the same time when registering?
Please note that during registration, you will not be able to choose available sessions and join a waitlist at the same time. We recommend you choose all available sessions that you would like and pay for those first. Then go back into the same registration and join the waitlist for any further sessions. You will need to join each waitlist separately because the system will not allow you to choose more than one waitlist at a time.
What if my skater wakes up ill and cannot make the session?
We understand that illnesses happen. We ask that you let us know by noon on the day of the session if your skater cannot make the session due to illness. Please refer to our Refund Policy listed above.
What can't I cancel my session through my account?
If you try to cancel a session through your account, you will get an error that says "Permission Denied". Instead, please send us an email as soon as possible with your skater's name, the session you would like cancelled, and the reason for cancellation.
